What are the Ingredients of Herbal Throat Spray?
Kawakawa(Macropiper excelsum):
A New Zealand native plant that was known as one of the most significant healing herbs in traditional Maori herbal medicine practice. Today it is still commonly used as a healing or herb tonic. It has gentle stimulating and rejuvenating properties.
Thyme Leaf (Thymus vulgaris):
Thyme has a long history of traditional use for respiratory tract conditions such as coughs and sore throats and aid in helping ease spasmodic coughing and remove mucus.
Echinacea Root (Echinacea purpea):
A traditional remedy used for a broad range of infectious and inflammatory conditions. Clinical trials have shown that Echinacea is a useful preventative as well as treatment for bacterial and viral infections. Kiwiherb Echinacea is a premium Echinacea product made from Certified Organic, New Zealand grown Echinacea purpurea root.
Propolis:
A natural product secreted by trees on leaf buds and bark, which is gathered by New Zealand honey bees is naturally high in substances called flavanoids, which are powerful antioxidants and are important for the bacterial activity of Propolis.
Manuka Honey (Leptospermum scoparium):
Unique to New Zealand, Manuka Honey is produced from the nectar of the Manuka and Kanuka trees. It has a powerful antiseptic property not found in other honey varieties. This property is called Unique Manuka Factor (UMF). Amongst the many benefits, Manuka Honey used medicinally is particularly important for the treatment of slow healing wounds and ulcers.

What are the Contraindications/Interactions of Herbal Throat Spray?
Herbal Throat Spray is not recommended for used during pregnancy. Not recommended for those who are allergic to propolis or any bee products. Those allergic to the Asteracae family plants (e.g. chamomile, artichokes, daisies) should seek advice from your medical professional before use due to a possible allergic reaction. Be aware that there may be a temporary tingling sensation in the mouth immediately after taking as a natural effect of high quality, potent Echinacea. This is normal and indicative of Echinacea properties.

Children: (6-12yrs):
2 sprays
Spray directly into the mouth every 1-2 hours as required.
