Echinacea root (Echinacea purpea):
A traditional remedy used for a broad range of infectious and inflammatory conditions. Clinical trials have shown that Echinacea is a useful preventative as well as treatment for bacterial and viral infections including colds and flu.Kiwiherb Echinacea is a premium Echinacea product made from Certified Organic, New Zealand grown Echinacea purpurea root.
Manuka Honey (Leptospermum scoparium):
Unique to New Zealand, Manuka Honey is produced from the nectar of the Manuka and Kanuka trees. It has a powerful antiseptic property not found in other honey varieties. This property is called Unique Manuka Factor (UMF®). Amongst the many benefits, Manuka Honey used medicinally is particularly important for the treatment of slow healing wounds and ulcers.

What are the Contraindications/Interactions of Echinature® High Potency Extract?
Those who are allergic to the Asteraceae family plants, for example, chamomile, artichokes, daisies should use caution when taking Echinacea due to possible allergic reactions. A temporary harmless tingling in the mouth may occur immediately after taking as a natural effect of high quality Echinacea. Be advised that this is normal and indicative of the quality and potency of Echinacea. Should symptoms persist, consult your medical professional. Use only as directed following the instructions on the label.
What is the Dosage Recommendation for Echinature® High Potency Extract?
Adults:
3 - 5ml
Children (6 - 12years):
1.5 - 2.5ml (or use Children's Echinature®)
Preventative dose:
Take once daily
Treatment dose:
Take 3 - 4 times daily
Special Instruction:
Dilute in 30ml of water or juice and drink immediately. Follow with a glass of water if necessary.
