Beeswax:
Beeswax is an excellent emollient that provides non-occlusive protection to the skin. This means that it forms a protective and breathable network on the skin's surface which helps to minimise moisture loss. It is non-allergic and possesses elastic and water repellent properties which allow it to sustain sunscreen action and provide greater permanence on both skin and/or lip surfaces. Beeswax works by locking in and retaining moisture, fostering cells and protecting the skin from damaging environmental factors. It is a wonderful 100% natural moisturiser and contains anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-allergenic and germicidal anti-oxidant properties.
Zinc Oxide:
Zinc Oxide is a naturally occurring inorganic compound that is often used in skin care products to help combat a variety of skin conditions and is known for its ability to create a protective barrier. Zinc Oxide is a key ingredient in calamine lotions, barrier creams and antiseptics. It is non-irritating, non-allergenic and does not block the skins pores.

What are the Directions for using Apicare® Baby Bottom Balm?
Daily Ritual:
Clean the nappy area and gently apply a thin layer of balm to red, dry, irritated and/or inflamed skin. Re-apply as necessary to help affected area/s.
