Indications for use:

Treatment of Constipation:
Treating constipation should also encompass a healthy balanced diet, adequate fluids and exercise regime. Having a wholesome, nutritional diet containing fibre (eg, whole grain breads and cereals, legumes, bran, fresh vegetables and fruit), 2 litres of water daily and some form of exercise are vital for maintaining healthy bowel function. Avoidance of refined, sugary foods such as white breads, pastas, rice, pastries, puddings, sweets, cake and cheese is necessary as these foods may cause or exacerbate constipation.

What are the Contraindications/Interactions of Mg Lax™?
Cautions:
- Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Not suitable for those with kidney disease or gastroenteritis
- Not suitable for children under the age of 6 years except under the guidance of your medical professional
- Laxatives should not be abused - do not take Mg Lax™ long-term at the laxative dose
- Do not take any type of laxative if you have signs of appendicitis or inflammed bowel (such as lower abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, nausea or vomiting). Seek medical advice immediately.
- Should symptoms persist, seek medical help.
- Consult with your medical professional first before use if you are taking any prescriptive medication such as digoxin, tetracyclines, quinolones, bisphosphonates.
What is the Dosage Recommendation for Mg Lax™?
Rapid dose:

Take 4 capsules 2 - 3 times daily.
Mild dose:
Adults:
Take 4 - 5 capsules daily
Mild dose:
Children: over 6 years:
Take 2 capsules daily, one at a time, with a large glas of water, away from food, for up to 1 week. Be sure to drink plenty of water to encourage flushing effect.
