What are the Key Ingredients of Restore Me™ Honey Nut Butter?
Key Ingredients:
Manuka Honey (UMF 15+) (Leptospermum Scoparium):
Manuka honey is deeply penetrating and hydrating and has anti-inflammatory properties that have the ability to accelerate the repairing of tissue damage and reducing scarring of the skin. UMF stands for Unique Manuka Factor which refers to its non-peroxide level of antibacterial activity. This factor provides an additional potent anti-bacterial action on top of the usual anti-bacterial abilities of all honey compositions. The higher the rating, the higher the activity level is making the healing ability greater. Another benefit is it has been shown to diffuse deeper into the skin tissues.
Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis):
Aloe Vera has traditionally and still to modern day been considered as an effective remedy for wound healing from soothing and healing burns, skin irritations, chaffed areas to insect bites etc. Aloe Vera has antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory compounds all of which help to prevent wound infections, assist with wound healing and skin regeneration.
Vegetable Glycerin:
Contains excellent nourishing and moisturising properties which help to promote youthful, radiant and healthy looking skin. It is hypoallergenic, antibacterial and both natural and soluble in water which makes it play a valuable role in skin care products.
Macadamia Nut Oil (Macadamia Integrifolia):
Contains high levels of anti-oxidant Vitamin E helping to combat dry or mature and aging skin types. It is easily absorbed making it an excellent skin softener and moisturiser. Macadamia Nut Oil contains the highest amount of palmitoleic acid of any plant, which is naturally present in the sebum of younger skins but decreases with age.
