Calendula Oil(Calendula Officinalis):
Calendula oil is often used as a base for many herbal ointments, facial creams, lotions and many other natural cosmetics. it is known for promoting skin healing and cell regeneration, helping many types of skin inflammation from dry and damaged skin to rashes, diaper irritations etc.
Manuka Honey (UMF 15+) (Leptospermum Scopatium):
Manuka honey is deeply penetrating and hydrating and has anti-inflammatory properties that have the ability to accelerate the repairing of tissue damage and reducing scarring of the skin. UMF stands for Unique Manuka Factor which refers to its non-peroxide level of antibacterial activity. This factor provides an additional potent anti-bacterial action on top of the usual anti-bacterial abilities of all honey compositions. The higher the rating, the higher the activity level is making the healing ability greater. Another benefit is it has been shown to diffuse deeper into the skin tissues.
